Playalingua offers intensive Spanish classes for all levels and
accommodation on the premises. The school is conveniently located 5
minutes from the beautiful beach and a few steps from the main
street. The school has air conditioned classrooms, internet access,
library, cafeteria, swimming pool and a tropical garden.
Due to a small-class size of 7 student’s maximum, much progress can
be made in a short period of time. The direct approach methods are
lively and motivating and the teachers are highly qualified.
Playalingua also offers courses of English, German, French and
Italian for local residents.
The lodging area has 10 single rooms (with or without balcony); with
a shared bathroom and 10 double rooms with private bathrooms and
balcony. All rooms are air conditioned, have a safety deposit box,
ceiling fan and beach towels. Swimming pool and hammocks are
available in the garden.
The school also offers home stays in selected host families. Most of
them have been working with us for over five years.
This gives students the opportunity to practice their Spanish in an
authentic Mexican environment.
The courses are given in the morning from 8:40 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Monday through Friday, so the student has the rest of the day for
enjoy the beach, sports, aquatic activities, extreme sports.
Private classes also available as well as free tutoring every
evening
On the weekends, the center’s staff organizes one or two day
excursions (extra cost) to the Mayan ruins, cenotes, and colonial
cities such as Merida in Yucatan, or to the beautiful islands of
Isla Mujeres, Holbox and Contoy. The school benefits from its
creators 34 years pedagogical experience in Europe.

respective responsible. They are held three times a week from 5
to 8, depending on the type of class and number of students.

Salsa private (per 1 hour) USD 30.00.

Our school in Playa is located just
six blocks from the white sand beaches, is designed specifically for our
programs in the typical Caribbean style.
This open architecture creates a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that
encourages intensive learning. Due to the area’s year-round temperate
climate, classes take place under thatched roof learning areas surrounded
by tropical gardens.
In addition to our excellent programs, beautiful setting and professional
staff, our school offers a library stocked with books on grammar, the Mayan
culture, religion
and travel in Mexico, and many other publications.
The open aired and air conditioned conference rooms are ideal for guitar
and salsa classes, and our weekly gatherings. Our school also has a
cafeteria, volleyball court and garden areas for students to relax during
breaks or after a day of classes.
